The album we’ve all been waiting for has finally hit the shelves, and it’s everything we expected it would be and more!
Musical genius Ed Sheeran released his much-anticipated third studio album, Divide, today on March 3.
Taking to Twitter to voice his excitement, Ed said: “It’s out! Bloody hell that feels good to say.”
It's out ! Bloody hell that feels good to say. Tune into Chris Evans this morning on radio 2, doing a session, then the one show later x— Ed Sheeran (@edsheeran) March 3, 2017
The album features his latest hits including Shape of You and Castle on the Hill as well as new songs Eraser and Galway Girl.
His new album also includes a powerful ballad to rival his chart topper Thinking out Loud, called Perfect.
The song includes lyrics such as ‘I’ve found a lover to carry more than just my secrets, to carry love, to carry children of our own' – which is sure to be the song couples will use for their first dance in years to come.
There’s also some more upbeat tunes for his fans to get behind, including Barcelona and What Do I Know.
His self-proclaimed 'best work to date', comes after, what seemed like, a very long year out the music game, after he decided to take some time out to travel the world and 'see everything he’s missed’.
And he's certainly come back into the music game with a bang this year as he's already had one number one hit with Shape of You, a number two hit with Castle on the Hill and in February, he wowed his fans as he took to the stage at the Brits with grime artist Stormzy.
Ed's worldwide tour also kicks off this month when he'll be touring Europe, then in May, he's off to South and Central America.
