This competition opens on 00:00 29 March 2016 and closes at midnight on 23:59 25 April 2016. Entrants received after the closing date will not be considered. The prize for each category winner is a pet pamper hamper worth £100 and a photo shoot on a location near the winner's home on week commencing 9 May 2016, and will feature in an upcoming issue of Good Living magazine, and/or on ASDAgoodliving.co.uk. There are therefore 4 x prizes of a pet pamper hamper and photo shoot. The prize winners are required to participate in and give their consent to related publicity including their names and photographs being used for promotional purposes and/or reasonable requests to take part in the Promoters’ publicity.
Your entry must be your own work and must not infringe the rights of any other party. You must own the copyright in any photograph you enter and it is your responsibility to ensure it was taken with the permission of anyone featured and that they consent to you submitting the entry for the purposes set out in these terms and conditions. If an image shows any person under the age of 16 you must have received the consent of their parent or legal guardian to make and submit the entry. Inappropriate images will be disqualified. We will also disqualify any image where we suspect the copyright is not owned by the person submitting it.
Copyright in any images you submit remains with you. By entering the competition you grant Asda a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of our publications, websites, social media, in any promotional material and on packaging and marketing material in store.
A selection of entries may be published in albums on Asda’s Facebook page, other Asda social media channels, on Asda websites or in other Asda publications. We may publish your photo, name, home town and caption. We will not publish your email address or other contact details.
By entering the promotion, all entrants consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion only. IMP Media Ltd, Priory Park, The Great North Road, Aberford, Leeds is the Data Controller. After all online entries have been received, the Good Living editor and a selected representative from ASDA will decide on a shortlist. Our panel of judges will then select the winners of each category. The winners will be judged on the pet most deserving of each of the categories in the opinion of the judging panel.
Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and to have agreed to be bound by them. The promoter is ASDA, ASDA House, Great Wilson Street, Leeds, LS11 5AD. This competition is not open to any employees of Hearst Magazines, the promoter or their immediate families, the promoter’s advertising agency and sales promotion consultancy, or anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the competition. Only one competition entry, fulfilling the eligibility requirements above, will be accepted per person. Once selected, only the winner(s) will be contacted personally by email or telephone using the contact details provided upon entry.
It is assumed that you have the permission of your employer for any time off work which is required to claim the prize. The dates specified for the prize cannot be altered and Hearst Magazines and ASDA are not liable in any way to any winner who cannot attend. Winners will be notified on 2 May 2016. Winners will have three (3) working days to respond in full or another winner will be selected.
Hearst Magazines and ASDA’s decision is final in every situation, including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the validity of any such decision. Hearst Magazines and ASDA shall be permitted to exclude or disqualify any entrant at any time at its sole discretion. Hearst Magazines and ASDA reserve their right to exclude late, incomplete or multiple registrations, or registrations made by third parties or agents. Proof of sending an entry shall not constitute proof of receipt. No responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost, misdirected, late, damaged or illegible, nor for any associated costs.
The name of the winner(s) will be available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Hearst Magazines UK, 72 Broadwick Street, London W1F 9EP, indicating the name of the competition. Entry to the competition and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use any entrant’s name, image and any competition entry photograph, for promotional and/or editorial purposes in any format in print and non-print media without additional consultation. Once entered, entries cannot be returned / withdrawn. Spammers will be disqualified
Where Hearst Magazines runs a competition with a promoter such that the promoter is responsible for the selection and/or the provision of prizes then Hearst Magazines shall not be responsible for or have any liability for the provision of such prizes. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Hearst Magazines and ASDA be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss, damage or injury arising under or in connection with this competition.
These Terms are governed by English law, and entrants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in relation to all matters arising under or in connection with these Terms.
