From sending money abroad to making an eye appointment, there are plenty more things you can do in Asda or online than just your food shopping.
Here are nine things you didn’t know you could do with Asda…
1. Transfer money worldwide
Our money transfer service can now we done in store! Previously an online-only service, you can now pop in store and send money around the world from just £3. Transfer money from the UK to 146 countries, and what’s more, it only takes 15 minutes for it to appear in the recipient’s bank account.
2. All sorts of insurance
You can get all sorts of insurance from Asda including pet, travel, home and car insurance. So you can do all your shopping for your holiday, and get travel insurance at the same time. Easy.
3. Get your travel money
That’s right – you really don’t need to leave Asda to do everything for your holiday because you can also get your travel money online or in store. Plus if you have an Asda Money credit card there’s no card fee. And there’s free home delivery on orders over £500.
4. Pay your bills
You can pay your utility bills, TV licence, top up your phone credit and top up your pre-pay gas or electric meter at one of the PayPoint terminals in store. If your local store is a superstore or supercenter you can find the terminal in the kiosk area, if your store is a supermarket the point will be at customer services.
5. Print your phone photos
You can get your photos printed straight from your phone from 5p per photo. But it doesn’t stop there – you can create amazing presents for family and friends by printing photos on cushions, mugs and even wrapping paper. Our favourite though is the apron photo print...
6. Buy something online, pick it up in store
Want to order something online but out during the day? You can click and collect from your local Asda store using the toyou service. If you’re buying online from one of Asda’s partner retailers including asos, decathlon and missguided (find the full list here), you can choose to collect your parcel from a toyou location. You can track your parcel to see when you can pick it up. And now you can make returns – if you don’t have a return label you can create one online or colleagues can do it for you in store.
7. Click and collect your groceries
You can order your shopping online and pick it up from your local store, saving you precious time. Plus, it’s free which is always a good thing.
8. Get your eyes tested
Opticians are in over 130 Asda stores throughout the UK. You can check online to see which of your nearest stores has an opticians. They are open from 9am -8pm making it easy to get to if you work during the day. Check out the new designer range from Drew Barrymore here.

10 Buy some tyres
