Smart gadgets to buy the tech lover in your life this Christmas

Have you got someone in your life who always has to have the latest gadgets? They were the first one to have a fitness tracker, they always have the newest phone, they're basically Bluetooth-enabled.

If any of that sounds familiar, then you're probably desperately trying to catch up on the latest tech, so you can surprise them this Christmas.

Well, don't worry, because we've got everything your inspector gadget might want or need right here.

From sleek audio kit, to go-faster accessories, our new tech round-up should tick all the boxes without blowing your budget.

If they like to turn the music up loud, you can either treat them to some wireless speakers, such as the Blackweb Soundbloom BT Speaker which lets you take your music with you everywhere you go, or get them some stylish, noise-cancelling headphones.

If they're a movie buff, why not gift them a portable DVD player (in red or black), so they can watch the latest blockbusters on-the-go. For the home, film fans won't be disappointed to find this Now TV Smart Box which has over 60 Freeview channels and a four-month subscription to Sky Cinema included.

Finally, for keen photographers, you could always splurge on this Parrot Hydrofoil Orak Drone, which not only flies (taking pictures and video at 15ft from your smartphone), but also transforms into a speedboat for use in ponds and lakes!

Get them a PS4 Pro for Christmas and you'll keep them occupied for hours! The new console runs games more smoothly than ever so they'll as though they're right at the centre of the action.

Fifa 17 and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare are sure to top the gaming charts again this year and will make perfect stocking fillers.

And for those still chasing Pickachus, this Nintendo 2DS console comes pre-loaded with the new Pokemon Moon game.

For the fitness fanatic in your life, there's a whole host of go-faster accessories available in-store at Asda, from the SBS Beat Heart Fitness Tracker (above centre), to wireless dumbells and a smart skipping rope.

If they're into running, there's this hi-vis sport headband with in-built headphones (top left) so you can listen to your favourite playlist as you work out, or if you're worried about them being seen running on dark nights, you could always pop a safety shoe light (bottom right) in their stocking.

Are you living with a tech-obsessed foodie? Then, you might want to surprise them with a sleek kitchen gadget this Christmas. Those who like a latte in the morning will love unwrapping this Nescafe Dolce Gusto Oblo coffee machine (above centre), which not only makes coffee at the touch of a button, it will look super-stylish on your worktop.

For GBBO fans still mourning the move to Channel 4, console them with a beautiful and festive Morphy Richards stand mixer (bottom right).

If they're into their health drinks, the Nutribullet is still a must-have gadget, while everyone will love this stylish grown-up SodaStream drinks maker, or the fun rotating vertical rotisserie
