Or at least it's nice for the first twenty minutes or so - after that most of us are ready to pull our hair out as we wrestle with tape and wrapping paper!

Made famous by the wrappers at Takashimaya Department Store in Japan, this clever technique involves placing the gift diagonally on your chosen wrapping paper and finishing it up with just three folds and three pieces of tape. That's right, just three! 

Don't believe that you can wrap a gift so easily? YouTube user BeatTheBush has created a video that shows you how to do it and promises that you'll have a perfectly wrapped gift in just 15 seconds. Watch the video below:

Genius! It might take a few tries to perfect the technique (and we're not sure how it works with different shapes of gifts) but this might just be the best holiday hack we've seen yet.
