Kate and William: Best of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s royal tours

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have revealed their plans to visit Canada this autumn, taking in British Columbia and the territory of Yukon as part of their 2016 royal tour.

From India to New Zealand via Canada, Singapore and more, come travel the world with Kate and Wills.

But while it’s not yet clear if Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be tagging along for the trip (we really do hope so), Kensington Palace has revealed that there’s also a rather romantic reason behind William and Kate's excitement to return to Canada.

“The Duke and Duchess are delighted to be returning to Canada. They hold very happy memories from their visit in 2011 – their first overseas tour as a married couple,” a spokesperson revealed in an official statement.

“They are really looking forward to seeing other parts of this beautiful country and having the opportunity to meet many more Canadians along the way.”

More details on the dates and itinerary are yet to be released but in the meantime, what better opportunity to look back at snaps from Wills and Kate’s previous royal tours?
