How To Make A Cookie Monster Painted Pumpkin

Do you know someone who loves cookies as much as Sesame Street's Cookie Monster? Then our fab idea for a bright blue painted pumpkin is the perfect Halloween decoration! Find out how to make this striking painted pumpkin below. Omm nom nom nom!

You will need:

Download Cookie Monster's mouth stencil here before you begin

Step 1: Paint the whole pumpkin in a cookie monster blue and allow to dry (for best results, prime the pumpkin with a layer of white paint first and allow to fully dry). Download this stencil to mark out the mouth and paint it black.

Step 2: Select the correct size polystrene balls for your pumpkin and paint two black dots to create the eyes.

Step 3: Using PVA glue, attach the eyes at jaunty angles. Display the Cookie Monster pumpkin with cookies falling out from his mouth, and then share these as a Halloween treat!
