NEWSFLASH: Four new Harry Potter stories have been released!

JK Rowling is casting a spell over Harry Potter fans with the release of four new stories to tie in with the much-anticipated film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which is set to hit our screens in November. Following the adventures of Hogwarts textbook author Newt Scamander, played by Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them takes place in New York City, offering fans the first good look at wizarding life in America. But doesn't November seems like a lifetime away? Lucky for us, J.K. Rowling has come to the rescue by providing us with these four new stories.

"The wizarding world is much larger than you imagined...”

Published one a day from Tuesday 8th to Friday 11th March on Pottermore.com, the stories have been announced with the skin-tingling trailer below and cover the history of magic in North America since the 14th Century.

As the teaser shows, the stories focus on four magical subjects in particular: the Native American Skinwalkers, The Salem witch trials of 17th-century Massachusetts, the US Wizarding School Ilvermorny and the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA), the American version of the UK’s Ministry of Magic. Mere muggle-borns will soon be bang up to date with North America’s magical lore and myths. Excited isn't even the word!

Well what are you waiting for? You can check out the first two stories on Pottermore.com now. Be sure to check back in at 2pm on the 10th and 11th of March, when they will release the third and fourth instalments respectively, and you’ll soon be making Hermione proud with your magical knowledge.
