How to make an Easter chick wreath

*Get creative this Easter with this fluffy chick wreath for your front door. Here's what you’ll need...

Here's what you need to do...

1 On your cardboard, draw around the larger plate to create the outer circle – our wreath was about 20cm in diameter. Place the smaller plate in the centre of the first circle and draw around it to create the ring shape. Ask a grown-up to help you cut round the outside of the circle and then cut out the middle to form a ring.

2 Use scissors to snip off the chicks’ legs.

3 Starting in the centre and working out, cover sections of the ring with glue. Position 3-4 chicks at a time onto the glue, facing the same direction, and press them into place.

4 Continue working around the ring, adding chicks in rows, until it is covered.

5 Display your wreath on a mantelpiece or glue ribbon to the back and allow to dry before hanging. You can also use Blue Tack to attach it to your door.

TOP TIP: Start gluing chicks at the centre of your ring and work out towards the edges.

*Children should always be supervised by an adult when using scissors and other sharp or hot tools or components.
