Lady Gaga took the term ‘gravity-defying plunge’ to new levels last night when she wowed fans and 'jumped’ off the stadium during her half-time performance at the Super Bowl.

There was fire, flames and an abundance of smoke at the NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday February 5, as the 30-year-old singer took the stage to give fans exactly what they wanted and more.
The pop star began her performance from the lip of the stadium roof, singing ‘God Bless America’ with an army of 300 drones forming a twinkling American flag in the sky behind her.
Then the 30-year-old then literally took to the sky by 'jumping' off the roof and entering onto the stage from the ceiling, with the help of some sturdy wires.
Then ensued a meticulously choreographed 13-minute set of her greatest hits including Poker Face, Born this Way, Telephone, Just Dance, Million Reasons and Bad Romance.
And despite dazzling viewers with her set, her rather over the top jump has led to the world likening the drop to other movie clips and real-life scenes including fictional character Buzz Lightyear jumping out of a window, a wrestling star jumping off the ring and a bat taking to the sky.
