From edge-of-your-seat action to hilarious comedies to fun for the whole family, these are the movies to watch this autumn.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

Hurrah - it’s the film that aspiring wizards and witches have all been waiting for! This Harry Potter spin off (the first of a trilogy) takes places in 1920s New York and stars Oscar winning actor Eddie Redmayne as zoologist Newt Scamander. Although Harry Potter won’t be making an appearance, the trailer does mention Albus Dumbledore so here's hoping that we get to see a younger version of the much-loved Headmaster! Find out more about the film’s plot here and get ready for the film’s release on November 18th.

Trolls

Remember those brightly-haired troll dolls that you used to play with as a child? Well the toys are back in a new animated film hitting theatres on October 21st. Starring the vocal talents of Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Zooey Deschanel, Russell Brand, James Corden, and Gwen Stefani, this is sure to be a winner for children and adults alike. The musical comedy follows two trolls who are a quest to save their village from destruction by the evil, troll-eating Bergens. Get ready for music, laughter, and plenty of adventure.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

Fans of the Jack Reacher franchise will be eagerly looking forward to October 21st, when Tom Cruise again stars as the investigative former military Major in what's sure to be another thrilling, action-packed film. This time, Jack is on the run from the law and must uncover the truth behind a major government conspiracy in order to clear his name. An edge-of-your-seat experience!

Storks

Another animated comedy that we just can't wait to see is the family-friendly Storks. Set in a world where storks no longer deliver babies but deliver packages from a massive internet corporation instead, one stork gets himself into trouble when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine. The result is a super cute but totally unauthorised baby girl, who now must be found a home before anyone else finds out! Catch it on the big screen on October 14th.

The Girl On The Train

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, this highly-anticipated thriller starring Emily Blunt hits screens on October 5th. Rachel spends her time sitting on the train watching the same couple in their home every day. Their lives seem so perfect – until one day, Rachel sees something awful and the woman goes missing. Suddenly, Rachel finds herself in the middle of an investigation where everything is not as it seems. If you liked Gone Girl, then you won't want to give this nail-biting flick a miss!

Now it’s up to Dr Strange to protect the world the inter-dimensional threats, using his new powers.
