Get Ready For The Next Star Wars Film With The Coolest Toys In The Galaxy

Buckle your seatbelts for a trip down memory lane with Star Wars toys both old and new...

When it comes to epic sci-fi adventures, there is one story that soars above the rest. Star Wars has been delighting children of all ages for nearly four decades, and it looks like the mass appeal of the galactic film franchise is here to stay, with a new generation of kids growing up with these fantastical adventures. Diehard fans and newcomers alike fell in love with last year's Star Wars: The Force Awakens and are eagerly awaiting the next film, Rogue One, that's set to be released on 16 December.

The new film follows a band of rebels as they attempt to steal the plans to the planet-annihilating Death Star in order to destroy it. It's the first of three planned standalone spin-off films and is set before the events of 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope, but after Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. Oh dear, are you confused? We don't blame you! Get your Star Wars timeline straight and watch the riveting trailer for Disney's Rogue One.

People are seriously gearing up for the new Star Wars films (that's Rogue One being released this December plus the as-yet-untitled Star Wars: Episode VIII has finished filming and is set to be released December 2017) and are sharing their excitment on social media.

We couldn't agree more - bring on the next Star Wars film! Until then, the very best substitute is to get your hands on a selection of brilliant Star Wars toys.

Nostalgia is back in a big way in the toy world, whether it's the resurgence of wooden toys and doll houses, the new Trolls movie, or classics like Barbie and Lego that never really went out of style.

Back in the days before DVDs and the internet (don't forget that the first Star Wars film came out in the 70s!), children relied on toys and action figures to keep the magic of their favourite films alive. After the first film, Star Wars: A New Hope, children of all ages saved up their precious pennies to purchase their own Star Wars toys so that they could re-create the film, plus act out their own galactic adventures, at home.

Many of the original toys have increased in value over time. Just last year, a pristine pack of seven figurines featuring Boba Fett, Luke Skywalk and Lando Calrissian from The Empire Strikes Back sold for an impressive £26,000. Not bad!

Get in touch with your inner child, or introduce your own kids to the most exciting saga in the galaxy, with some brilliant new Star Wars toys, guaranteed to delight fans of all ages.

Explore all corners of the Galaxy with the iconic Millennium Falcon, featuring secret compartments, rotating top and bottom laser turrets, a sensor dish, ramp and an entrance hatch. You can't have the Millennium Falcon without Han Solo and Chewbacca, both of which are included in the set as well as other great characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
