In what might be the best news we’ve heard all week, Sarah Jessica Parker hinted that there could very well be a new Sex and The City series coming our way! The final series of Sex and The City came to an end in 2004, and we’ve all been secretly hoping the gang would get back together ever since.
Although the girls have since reunited to make two SATC films (in 2008 and 2010), many fans have felt that the final episode of the series didn’t do the show justice, and have been longing for the four characters, Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, to come back into our lives.
Now Sex and the City fans can rejoice as Sarah Jessica Parker has hinted that the cast are all up for either a third film or seventh series.
'I don't know whether it's a series or the movie. I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it's been resolved, she told the Press Association.
And are her co-stars Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York Goldenblatt) all on board? ‘I don’t think any of us have said no. I think that’s always a possibility, definitely’ Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed.
We’re keeping all our fingers and toes crossed that our favourite four ladies will be reuniting soon!
