Guess which iconic Disney film is getting a live-action remake?

There's been a few Disney reboots over the years, from the beautiful Cinderella starring Downton's Lily James to the highly anticipated Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson (slated for March 2017), and now we're happy to report that yet another live-action remake will be coming to a big screen near you.

The original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was Disney’s first animated feature film and a colossal hit when it came out back in 1937

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Disney are planning to remake the Brothers Grimm's classic fairytale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. How exciting is that?

Featuring original music from the songwriters behind La La Land (Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling's upcoming Oscar-tipped film), rumour has it that The Girl on the Train screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson is writing the screenplay.

The original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was Disney’s first animated feature film and a colossal hit when it came out back in 1937. It was nominated for Best Score at the Academy Awards and won an honorary Oscar for Walt Disney.

While there have been more than just a few versions of Snow White over the years, including the 2012 Snow White and the Huntsman starring Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, this new remake is coming straight from Disney Studios who of course created the much-loved original.

But who will play Snow White, we wonder? And what about Prince Charming?

Until we find out more, check out the Snow White clip below for some feel-good nostalgia. Heigh-ho!
