Amazing sides for your Easter table

A handsome leg of lamb may well be the dazzling centrepiece at your Easter table - but this dinner would be NOTHING without those oh-so-important trimmings.

Sides matter. We all know it. Unafraid to play second fiddle, these humble dishes don't need the limelight to know they're good. From seasonal griddled courgette salad to a classic fluffy roast tatty, we've picked our favourite heroes to pimp up your roast this Easter weekend.

Red peppers with cous cous

Packed with olives, cous cous and cheese - this bold stuffed pepper side also makes a tasty veggie main.

Griddled courgette salad

This gorgeous courgette side dish is brought to life with plenty of zest, chilli, mint and a spoonful of capers.

Sweet pea and bean salad

Crisp and full of fresh flavours, this crunchy salad is spring on a plate.

Crudites with creamy dill dip

Full of flavour, colour and crunch - our healthy versions of spring rolls make lovely Easter sides or starters.

Chargrilled flatbread with peas

Combining bread and seasonal spring veg, these easy to make pea-topped bites will be quickly devoured from any Easter dinner table.

Perfect roast potatoes

They're crispy on the outside and soft in the middle - could you ask for anything more from a roast spud

Potato and courgette tian

This layered side dish, or vegetarian main, is made of thin slices of courgette, potato, onion and tomato. A winning seasonal veggie side to accompany your roast dinner.

Lebanese French beans

If you're tired of serving up boiled beans then these Lebanese-style French beans are sure to win over the masses. Topped with tomatoes which have been seasoned with cinnamon, garlic and sugar - French beans never looked so good!

Griddled asparagus with a redcurrant jelly dressing

As spring has definitely sprung, why not add some seasonal veggies into your roast. We love this griddled asparagus paired with fruity jelly dressing.

Sticky-sweet roasted carrots with maple and mustard glaze

The syrup and mustard add warmth and depth to the natural sweetness of Chantenay carrots. A lovely seasonal spring side.
