A quick and tasty Easter lunch

Whether you're hosting a meal for your house, or hosting a video chat with your families, our easy lamb joints and pre-prepped sides mean the perfect, hassle-free feast is yours to share wherever you might be this Easter. Here, our food editor Gregor McMaster shows us how...

showstopper lamb:

Gregor says: 'This succulent leg of lamb is ideal for an Easter lunch, with leftovers to freeze or feed you for the week. Add a few garlic cloves and rosemary sprigs to the tin, then cook for 2 hours or more (the longer you leave it the more tender it will be), basting with the pan juices now and again.

READY-To-cook feast:

No hassle? No problem! Stay stress free with ready-to-cook roasties and a creamy cauliflower cheese that goes straight into the oven. Then add garlic mushrooms in a Dijon and cream sauce that's ready in just 5 minutes, plus a cabbage side with the subtle flavour of leeks. Last but not least, don't forget the gravy!

family favourites:

Lamb shoulder makes a hassle-free roast that's easy to shred if you prefer not to carve. It cooks in under 2 hours - glaze with redcurrent jelly and add in onions and bay leaves for the last 20 minutes for classic flavour.

For an indulgent side that's hard to beat, Extra Special Dauphinoise Potatoes come ready to bake in their own foil tray. They have a creamy cheese sauce with subtle nutmeg seasoning and are topped with a cheesy crumb. Ready-to-heat braised red cabbage works with the redcurrant glaze to cut through the richness of the lamb, while a veg medley adds flavour - and cooks in the microwave in just 3 minutes. It's perfect for you and the kids to enjoy!

tasty for two:

The smaller lamb joint lets you enjoy a roast without any worries about waste. Plus, it's ready-seasoned so there's little handling involved. For added foodie appeal, pop a few garlic cloves and red onion wedges into the tray.

Asda Herby Baby Potatoes with Butter come pre-prepped with butter and herbs, and cook in the microwave for speed and no fuss. The delicately flavoured broccoli is pre-trimmed and can be steamed or boiled in under five mins. Serve with delicious, zingy mint sauce.'
