Easter is approaching, and on top of all the chocolates you might be organising for gifts, you also have to think about your delicious Easter feast, and most importantly, your centrepiece meat!
Lamb is the obvious choice, but if you’re feeling like something different, here are four alternative meat to serve:
MAPLE-GLAZED PORK LOIN WITH ROASTED APPLES AND PEARS
Although not commonly enjoyed during Easter, this sticky pork loin dish is a truly aweing sight if you’re looking to impress. With caramelised roasted apples and pears alongside the maple-glazed pork, this sweet and savoury dish is a great choice – especially if you’re looking for a more subtlety flavoured meat to lamb.
OREGANO AND LEMON ROAST CHICKEN
Roast chicken is a favourite to many, so why not serve it at your Easter feast? The delicate lemony garlic butter and aromatic oregano in this roast chicken dish make all the difference. Try roasting with onion halves, garlic bulbs, lemon wedges and thyme springs for a five-star finish.
SIDE OF SALMON WITH PINK ONIONS
After something flaky that’s tangy, too? This side of salmon is marinated in dill, chilli, and lemon before being baked to perfection. It’s then topped with quick-pickled onions which are almost florescent in colour and sure to add style to your Easter feast.
BEEF WITH A MUSTARD AND STILTON CRUST
Delicate beef with hot mustard and sharp cheese is a match made in heaven. Yet master a centrepiece dish that has all the above, and you’ll certainly be praised when it comes time to tuck in. Serve with roast onions for the perfect side dish.
