BBQ desserts you can cook on the grill

What better way to finish a backyard grillathon than with something sweet?

While toasting marshmallows on sticks may be the traditional end to a BBQ bonanza, we've taken sweet treats on the grill to the next level with these no-fuss desserts. They're quick, tasty, and can be cooked on the grill, making the perfect finale to a BBQ feast!

Marshmallow, chocolate & caramel banana boats

These ooey-gooey hot bananas are filled with scrummy caramel and melted chocolate.

Simply slice the bananas lengthways, keeping the skins on, and stuff in as many mini marshmallows and chocolate buttons as you dare! Wrap in foil, pop directly on the grill (or, if it's starting to lose its heat, put it into the coals) and leave the BBQ to work its magic.

Just be careful when you unwrap them, they'll be seriously hot!

Summer berry & ricotta pizza

This sweet pizza picks up some of the BBQ's lovely chargrilled flavour when the base is cooked on the grill. The pizza dough doesn't take more than 5 minutes to cook each side, making it a super easy pud! Once the base cools, spread over a thick and sumptous layer of vanilla-spiked cream cheese and ricotta and top with your favourite summer berries.

Pizza, a creamy cheesecake topping and juicy berries all in one? Count us in!

Grilled fruit kebabs

Grilling these fruity skewers helps the chunks release their natural juices and sweetness, making for one super tasty pudding. Thread on your favourite summer fruits, from kiwis and pineapple to British strawberries, then drizzle with our fresh and tangy mint and lime dressing.

What's more, just one skewer contains an impressive 2 of your 5-a-day. Go on, treat yourself...
