This Easter lunch menu won’t break the bank

Cooking for a crowd this Easter doesn't have to mean spending lots of money.

Our menu of mouthwatering garden pea and pesto soup, apricot-stuffed lamb and hot cross bun bread and butter pudding makes a spread fit for a king or queen. Nobody needs to know that you spent less than £1 per person for each dish...

Starter: Garden pea and pesto soup

Add a twist to classic pea soup with fragrant green pesto. Top it with crispy croutons and a sprinkle of black pepper for the ultimate restaurant-finish.

Main: Lamb with apricot stuffing

This tasty apricot stuffing makes a smaller joint of meat go a lot further. Plus, it's just the thing to add a twist to your roast lamb this spring.

Side: Roast potatoes with garlic and rosemary

Crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside and packed with flavour, here's the ultimate way to serve up your roasties this Easter. We think peas and leeks with a little knob of butter also add a nice hit of freshness to the menu.

Dessert: Hot cross bun bread and butter pudding

This creamy, comforting dessert just got 10 times better thanks to the addition of hot cross buns! You could even throw in some broken up Easter egg if you haven't had enough chocolate!
