January is all about cosy-ness, and broths are exactly what you need while hiding away at home.
These four dishes are brimming with flavour, and are so easy to make too. Using a basic stock, accessorise the broth with your favourite combinations of meat, seafood, veggies, herbs and spices, and with minimal effort you'll have a flavour-packed dish! Here are four of our favourite broth recipes to try:
Prawn and veg Thai broth
This Thai-inspired broth is ready in just 15 minutes. Using a flavoursome vegetable stock, fill your pot with green beans, pak choi, prawns and noodles and then transfer to bowls for serving. Top with a squeeze of lime.
Mushroom and tofu broth
Seasoned with soy sauce, star anise, chilli and ginger, this vegetarian broth is a fragrant treat. The mushrooms and tofu bring forth the classic flavours of a warming Asian broth.
Beef and noodle broth
This hot and sour noodle broth is teeming with tender strips of steak. The butternut squash then lifts the dish with bursts of colour and earthy flavour. Yum!
Salmon and pak choi miso ginger broth
Here's a tasty salmon broth that's overflowing with goodness. The chicken broth base is made even tastier with pak choi, shiitake mushrooms, edamame beans, red cabbage and rice noodles, and the combination of ginger, chilli and miso paste make it extra zingy!
