And two years later, with two books under his belt and having helped more than 100,000 people with his 90 day Shift, Shape and Sustain Plan, The Body Coach, Joe Wicks, is showing no signs of slowing down on his quest of helping the world get 'fitter, healthier and leaner'. BOSH.
The turn of the New Year not only marks the start of January, but it also brings with it the release of Joe’s new fitness DVD, The Body Coach Workout. It's the latest release in the 31-year-old's fitness empire, helping people go ‘from beginner to winner’ in the comfort of their own home.
The three hour-long DVD helps you get warmed-up, you can also learn some cool-down routines as well as seven HIIT workouts and nutritional advice too.
We caught up with the online nutrition and fitness expert to find out what really makes him tick. And by the looks of things it’s his love of Lucy Bee coconut oil, avocados and Justin Bieber that's doing the trick!
What's your favourite breakfast on the go?
I like to make really healthy avocado and lime smoothie from my first book Lean in 15.
What's a good snack to take to work?
My top snack to take to work is probably a handful of nuts. I like cashew nuts or almonds.
What's your favourite tune at the moment to work out to?
My favourite tune at the moment – I love that Justin Bieber Sorry tune.
What three things in your cupboard/fridge could you not live without?
Coconut oil, avocado and peanut butter.
What is your ultimate food guilty pleasure?
Ben and Jerrys Phish Food!
What would your super power be?
The ability to get the whole world fit.
Who's your fitness idol?
Anthony Joshua is an amazing athlete, the boxer – really awesome great physique and stays fit all year round.
