Look how mini these microscopic cakes are

Nowadays we all know that it’s not just about how your food tastes anymore. It has to look good too – for Instagram, of course.

And that’s exactly what it seems Rachel Dyke had in mind when she created these magnificent microscopic celebratory cakes. Just look at them!

Talented cake creator Rachel used to work as a freelance cake decorator for Charm City Cakes in Los Angeles, which is the shop owned by Duff Goldman from Food Network’s 'Ace of Cakes'.

But now the magical cake creator has her own business. She makes adorable miniature keepsakes for brides, grooms, and people celebrating their birthday by making small versions of their memorable cakes out of polymer clay.

From three-tiered creations with rose petals, shards of chocolate and adding extra chocolate to naked cakes with just the icing showing - there's nothing that Rachel can't whip up. This iced naked cake is actually on a tree trunk slice and took around eight hours to create.

And if that wasn’t enough, all Rachel’s mini 'cakes' are scented accordingly. For example, this tiered pink cakes smells like pink sugar buttercream, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries – how delicious!
