Showstopper bakes to get you excited for The Great British Bake Off

Glorious showstopper cakes are set to grace our screens tonight for The Great British Bake Off final.

The wait is finally over as we'll find out the Bake Off champion tonight. Will it be Steven, famous for his edible chess board, or stuntwoman Sophie, who is master of the illusion cake? Maybe self-taught baker Kate will be crowned winner with an old-fashioned masterpiece.

To help you get into the swing of all things cake-related for tonight's final, we've rounded up our favourite showstoppers.

1. jump around for our bunny cake

Fluffy bunnies come to life on this hilly meadow cake. Children and adults alike will be wowed by the detail on this entirely edible creation made with mallow bunnies.

2. Create a Beach Hut Cake

If you don’t have time to squeeze in a day at the beach, then bring the seaside to you with these stripy beach huts.

3. Wow people with this massive jaffa cake

Love chocolate and orange? Then you'll fall in love with this humungous Jaffa cake which is topped with zesty orange marmalade, jelly and rich dark chocolate ganache.

4. Bite into this big party ring

With their bright multi-coloured icing and sweet taste, party rings are a firm fave for kids' birthday parties. And these giant versions are sure to impress even the most steely-eyed judges...

5. Enjoy a cuppa with a slice of this tea pot creation

There are always some crazy creations on Bake Off, but none could be madder than this Mad Hatter’s teapot. We think Star Baker could be on the cards if the contestants made this...

6. Fruity fro-yo-bombe

This frozen dessert is simple to make and has a real wow factor when you reveal the first watermelon-inspired slice.
