Are you a Tunnock's fan? Then you will LOVE this gooey caramel, crispy traybake. Layer with melted chocolate, set in the fridge and you're good to go! Enjoy with a cuppa brew for the perfect mid afternoon pick-me-up.
what you will need

250g unsalted butter

150g soft brown sugar

130g honey

6 Tunnock’s Caramel Bars, roughly chopped

150g Asda Rice Snaps

600g milk chocolate
step by step

Grease a 20 x 20cm tin and line with baking paper.

In a large bowl set over a pan of simmering water, add the butter, sugar, honey and half the chopped Tunnock’s Caramel Bars. Stir together gently until melted and combined.

Take off the heat and fold through the rest of the Tunnock’s Caramel Bars and the Rice Snaps.

Transfer the crispy mixture to your prepared tin and press down to get a flat surface.

In a separate bowl set over the same pan of water add the milk chocolate stirring often until melted.

Evenly pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Snaps and smooth over.

Pop in the fridge to cool for 30 minutes. Then remove from the fridge and leave to set on the side for a couple of hours. Cut into squares.
