First the world went into a flap over flamingos, then we were pining for pineapple, and now our favourite tropical print is the sumptuous and fruity watermelon!
Initially, the fruity design was seen all over the spring/summer 2017 catwalks, and perhaps most notably on Charlotte Olympia’s runway, where the finale featured an oversized watermelon bag. Then soon after, the colourful and fun design began appearing on home accessories like tea towels, mugs and duvets.
So, with the watermelon trend in full bloom, we’ve put together a selection of our favourite fruity fashion finds, homeware items, and wonderful watermelon recipes that are perfect for summer entertaining too.
