Euan says...

'Recipes that play around with different consistencies and textures are my favourites, and I love to experiment with flavours, putting different tastes together - such as sweet and salty - that might not usually go. What I especially like about this recipe is you can play with the spice levels depending on your taste, so it was good to do that with the food editor Gregor. I can't wait to experiment with more flavours in different recipes at home.'

Euan's mini interview

Did you enjoy your day cooking in the Asda Kid's Kitchen?

I was a bit nervous on my way to cook, but as soon as I got there I felt more confident. Everyone was so friendly.

When did you start cooking?

I've always liked helping out in the kitchen and have really got into cooking over the past few years.

What/ who inspires you?

When I'm not at school, you'll find me watching Miguel Barclay's One Pound Meals or Bake Off with my mum. I also like Mary Berry - she's like a lovely nan!

What is your favourite thing to make?

I like one-pan dishes, as there's less fuss and less washing-up. That's another reason why this chilli is good for kids to make!
