Kids’ Kitchen - Lottie Makes Nachos

Asda Kids Kitchen Lottie makes Nachos
Meet lottie

Lottie says...

"My parents love to make meals from scratch, so I've been into cooking ever since I was a baby. There's a photo of me stirring the Christmas cake when I was about six months old! I'm also learning about nutrition at school, which is why I think these nachos are great. The recipe makes vegetables so tasty, kids will want to eat them!"

Lottie's mini interview

Did you learn anything on your day at Asda's Kids' Kitchen?

I loved being part of the cookery team today. Preparing all the vegetables with the help of food editor Gregor was great practice for my chopping skills.

Do your nachos have a secret ingredient?

Orange juice adds a lovely refreshing, zingy flavour to the salsa.

What inspires you to cook?

I look in books and magazines for recipes, and love Nadiya Hussain. I often watch YouTube food tutorials with my parents and, after today, I can't wait to do more cooking and have my own channel in the future!

What's your favourite meal you have made to date?

Recently, I planned and cooked a three-course meal of fish goujons, mozzarella-stuffed chicken and homemade brownies for my family.
