Asparagus & Parmesan slice
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 medium egg, beaten
- 200g Asda Smart Price Full Fat Soft Cheese
- 50g Parmesan, grated
- 250g frozen asparagus
- 15g butter, melted
Pre-heat the oven to 200C/160C Fan/Gas 6. Lay the puff pastry on a baking sheet and mark border around the edge with a sharp knife 1.5 inches without cutting all the way through. Brush the edge of the boarder with egg. Bake for 10 minutes.
Mix the soft cheese with the rest of the beaten egg and half the Parmesan and spread on the pastry.
Top with the asparagus and brush it with melted butter. Sprinkle on the rest of the Parmesan.
Bake in the oven for a further 15 minutes.
