Easy banana ice cream
- 400g bananas peeled and sliced (5 ripe bananas)
- 50g caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 150ml buttermilk
Place the bananas onto a baking sheet lined with cling film, or a zip lock bag. Place in the freezer until hard.
In a large food processor blitz all the ingredients until smooth, serve immediately.
TOP TIP! As a replacement for buttermilk, mix 150ml milk and 2tbsp lemon juice. Set aside for a few minutes. Use as the buttermilk in the recipe.
