Ingredients
  • 1 thick slice bread
  • 75g lean cooked ham
  • 1 level tbsp thyme, leaves only
  • 500g Butcher's Selection Lean Steak Mince
  • 40g Parmesan, grated
  • 1 medium egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Tomato ketchup, for dipping
Method
  • Pre-heat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Whizz the bread, ham and thyme in a processor until finely chopped.

  • Put in a bowl and add the mince, Parmesan and egg. Mix with your hands to combine and bring together.

  • Wash your hands, leaving them wet. Divide the mince into 24 and shape into small kofta shapes.

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the koftas in batches until browned all over. Transfer to the baking tray. Cook in the oven for 8-10 minutes. Serve warm with ketchup.
