Ingredients
  • 2 x 454g frozen diced beef
  • 700g pack Aunt Bessie’s Frozen Casserole Vegetable Mix
  • 2 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • 1-2 tbsp cornflour
Method
  • Pre-heat the oven to 160C/140C Fan/Gas 3. Put the frozen beef and vegetables (but not the dumplings) in a casserole. Add the herbs. Dissolve the stock cube and tomato purée in 250ml boiling water and pour over. Cover and cook for 3 1⁄2 hours.

  • Mix the cornflour with a little cold water and stir in. Push the dumplings gently into the stew. Return to the oven, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
