Bread and butter pudding with berries
- 10g unsalted butter
- 7 slices bloomer loaf, sliced
- 100g raspberries
- 100g blueberries
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 400ml semi-skimmed milk
Preheat the oven to 160C/140C Fan/Gas 3. Grease an ovenproof dish with the butter.
Arrange the slices of bread, overlapping, in the dish. Scatter over the raspberries and blueberries.
Lightly beat together the eggs and milk until evenly blended. Pour over the slices of bread.
Bake for 40 mins or until golden brown and set in the middle. Rest for 5 mins before serving.
