Ingredients
  • 8 tbsp hot chocolate powder
  • 1L semi-skimmed milk
  • 1tsp peppermint extract
  • 30% less fat squirty cream
  • 2 candy canes, finely chopped plus extra to serve
Method
  • Mix 8tbsp hot chocolate powder with a splash of milk until smooth.

  • In a large pan whisk the chocolate paste into 1L semi-skimmed milk and bring to the boil.

  • Remove from the heat, stir through 1tsp peppermint extract and divide between 6 mugs.

  • Top each with squirty cream and sprinkle with two candy canes, finely chopped.
