Ingredients
  • 2 persimmons
  • 25g butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • Greek yogurt or ice cream, to serve
Method
  • Remove the stalks from 2 persimmons and cut into 6-8 segments.

  • Melt 25g butter in a pan with 1 tbsp brown sugar over a low heat, until dissolved.

  • Add the persimmon segments and cook until lightly browned, turning often.

  • Serve as a dessert with a little Greek yogurt or ice cream. Pour the remaining sauce from the pan over the serving.

  • Alternatively, serve the fruit with a cheese board.
