Ingredients
  • 400g canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 200g fresh white breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 4 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp curry paste
  • 75g sesame seeds
  • 6 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Wraps, to serve
  • Cucumber, to serve
  • Houmous, to serve
Method
  • Blitz the chickpeas, garlic, breadcrumbs, herbs, sesame oil, soy sauce and curry paste in a food processor (or use a hand-held blender).

  • Dampen your hands and shape the mixture into balls slightly larger than a £2 coin. Roll in the sesame seeds and press slightly.

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the falafel for 2-3 minutes on each side. Leave to cool, then chill until ready to pack.
