Cheat’s Jamaica cake sticky toffee pudding

Price: 50p per serving
- 50g unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
- 2 x McVitie’s Jamaican Ginger Sticky Pudding Cake
- 75g soft brown sugar
- 25g golden syrup
- 150ml double cream
- 2tbsp Asda Fudge Chunks
- 2tbsp Asda Triple Choc Curls
Preheat the oven to 180C/160C/Gas 4. Grease an ovenproof 30cm x 20cm baking dish with butter.
Cut the ginger cakes into 8 thick slices and arrange in the dish. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 15-20 mins.
In a pan set over a medium heat, add the butter, sugar and golden syrup and simmer until the sugar has melted, stirring frequently.
Reduce the heat, add the double cream and stir until fully combined. Simmer until you have a lovely toffee sauce. Remove from the heat to cool slightly.
Pour the sauce over the cake then sprinkle with the fudge and chocolate curls to serve.
