Ingredients
  • 200g Frozen For Freshness Morello Cherries, defrosted
  • 6 sponge fingers, broken into chunks
  • 450g Asda Fat Free Red Cherry Yogurt or 3 x 175g pots Müller Light Cherry Yogurt
  • 4tbsp Asda Toasted Flaked Almonds
Method
  • Line a 1L loaf tin or pudding basin with clingfilm.

  • Pour the juice from the defrosted cherries over the sponge finger pieces and leave to soak.

  • Roughly chop the cherries.

  • Mix together the sponge pieces, cherries, yogurt and 3tbsp of the almonds and spoon into the loaf tin.

  • Freeze for 3 hrs for a soft dessert or 6 hrs for a firmer result.

  • To serve, remove the loaf tin from the freezer, turn onto a serving plate and remove the clingfilm before sprinkling with 1tbsp flaked almonds. If frozen solid, leave to stand at room temperature for 30 mins to soften.
