Cherry and almond frozen yogurt
- 200g Frozen For Freshness Morello Cherries, defrosted
- 6 sponge fingers, broken into chunks
- 450g Asda Fat Free Red Cherry Yogurt or 3 x 175g pots Müller Light Cherry Yogurt
- 4tbsp Asda Toasted Flaked Almonds
Line a 1L loaf tin or pudding basin with clingfilm.
Pour the juice from the defrosted cherries over the sponge finger pieces and leave to soak.
Roughly chop the cherries.
Mix together the sponge pieces, cherries, yogurt and 3tbsp of the almonds and spoon into the loaf tin.
Freeze for 3 hrs for a soft dessert or 6 hrs for a firmer result.
To serve, remove the loaf tin from the freezer, turn onto a serving plate and remove the clingfilm before sprinkling with 1tbsp flaked almonds. If frozen solid, leave to stand at room temperature for 30 mins to soften.
