Chicken with spicy potatoes
- 4 Asda Smart Price Chicken Leg Quarters
- 3 garlic cloves, halved
- 2 Asda Smart Price Lemons
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- ½ tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tsp Asda Madras Curry Powder
- 500g potatoes, cut into chunks
- 225g frozen peas
Pre-heat the oven to 190C/170C Fan/Gas 5. Put the chicken and garlic in a greased roasting tin. Squeeze the lemons over and add the shells to the tin. Bake for 45 minutes.
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the seeds and cover. As soon as the seeds pop, add the curry powder and cook for 1 minute, stirring.
Add the potato and stir for 3 minutes. Add 200ml water, cover, bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the peas, return to the boil and cook for 5-10 minutes. Serve with the roast chicken.
