Ingredients
  • 200g bar Asda Milk Chocolate
  • 100g bar Extra Special Dark Cooking Chocolate
  • 175g Asda Best for Baking Cakes spread, plus extra for greasing
  • 250g light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 85g plain flour
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 300g pack Asda Bourbon Biscuits, ½ chopped, ½ whole
Method
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Grease and line a 23cm x 20cm brownie tin.

  • Melt all the chocolate in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water. Add the spread and the sugar; stir until melted and combined.

  • Lift the bowl off the pan; mix in the eggs and vanilla.

  • Stir in the flour, cocoa and chopped biscuits.

  • Pour into the tin; arrange the whole biscuits on top. Bake for 20-25 mins, until almost set in the centre.

  • Allow to cool, then cut into 30 pieces to serve.
