Cranberry sangria

Mouthwatering mulled wine flavours and red berries add a seasonal spin to this fruit cooler

Cranberry sangria

    plus 1hr chilling

  • Serves: 8

  • 75cl bottle Merlot
  • 100ml brandy
  • 200ml cranberry juice
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 150g Grower's Selection Cranberries
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 whole star anise
  • 8 sprigs rosemary, to decorate
  • Pour the Merlot, brandy and cranberry juice into a jug. Add the orange slices, cranberries, cinnamon sticks and star anise. Stir well to combine, then chill in the fridge for 1hr to let the flavour come together.

  • Add ice to 8 tall glasses and divide the sangria between them. Push 1 sprig rosemary into each glass, to decorate, and serve immediately.
