Creamy chicken & pea curry
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 tbsp Asda Madras Curry Powder
- 2 x 392g cans Asda Chunky Chicken
- 550g can Asda Garden Peas
- 25g flaked almonds, lightly toasted
- Rice, to serve
- Mango chutney, to serve
- Poppadoms, to serve
Fry the onion in the oil over a medium heat until soft. Add the curry powder and reduce to a low heat, stirring for 2 minutes.
Add the chicken and peas and heat through, stirring occasionally.
When ready to serve, sprinkle with almonds and spoon over steamed rice. Serve with mango chutney and poppadoms.
