Crumpets with avocado & chilli
- 4 Asda Crumpets
- 2tbsp Extra Special Flame Roasted Tomato and Habanero Chilli Chutney
- 1 large avocado, halved and destoned
- Juice 1/2 lime, plus lime wedges to serve
- 1 red chilli, thinly sliced (optional)
- Coriander, to serve
Toast the crumpets according to the pack instructions and spread with the chutney.
Thinly slice the avocado flesh while still in the skin. Scoop out carefully with a spoon and divide between the crumpets.
Squeeze over the lime juice and season with ground black pepper. Top with the chilli, if using (don’t let kids handle with their fingers), sprinkle with the coriander, then serve immediately (1 crumpet per person).
