French toast sandwich with chocolate spread
- 30g Asda Nutterly Delicious! Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
- 4 slices from an 800g Extra Special White Sliced Bloomer
- 100g strawberries
- 1tsp rapeseed oil
- 2 medium eggs, beaten
- 50g blueberries
Divide the hazelnut chocolate spread between the 4 pieces of bread and smooth out. Hull and slice 50g of the strawberries, arrange on 2 of the pieces of bread, then top with the remaining bread.
Heat the oil in a large nonstick frying pan over a medium setting. Dip both sides of each sandwich into the beaten egg and fry for 2-3 mins on each side, until golden brown.
Cut each sandwich in half. then stack on a plate. Serve topped with the remaining strawberries, halved, and the blueberries.
