Gin is having a moment, with the rise of new bespoke distilleries and artisan gins infused with fruit and vegetables instilling new interest in the spirit. You don’t have to be a mixologist to take advantage of the revival by shaking up some interesting gin cocktails. Don’t be afraid to experiment with garnish either: it doesn’t have to be lemon! Depending on the flavour of your gin and your own preferences, why not try basil, grapefruit, coriander or – fast becoming a modern classic – a thin sliver of cucumber. Cheers!
