Quick and easy hot chocolate with red wine
- 3tbsp Asda chosen by you cocoa
- 2tbsp caster sugar
- 500ml semi-skimmed milk
- 300ml Asda Extra Special Cabernet Sauvignon
Mix together the cocoa and caster sugar with a little milk to create a smooth paste.
Gently warm the milk over a medium heat until it comes to the boil.
Gradually whisk the milk into the cocoa paste until smooth.
Return to the heat and slowly pour the red wine into the hot chocolate, whisking continuously to prevent the mixture from separating.
Bring to the boil then evenly divide the mixture between 6 mugs.
