Leftover sausage pasta

- 300g penne pasta
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 deseeded and sliced large red pepper
- 6 leftover sausages
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- Handful of torn fresh basil
- Crusty bread to serve
Cook the penne in a pan of boiling water for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the onion in the oil until soft.
Add the pepper and cook for a further 2 minutes. Slice the sausages and add to the pan with the cherry tomatoes. Cook for 4 minutes.
