We’ve kept the dressing very simple here, so the wonderfully sweet flavour of the lobster can really shine through. You could add chilli for a bit of heat.

  • 40g butter, softened
  • 1 tsp chopped curly parsley
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 Asda Frozen Cooked Lobster (350g)
  • Mix the butter with the parsley and lemon juice, and season with black pepper. Make into a sausage shape, wrap in cling film and chill.

  • Thaw the lobster in the fridge and drain off any excess water.

  • Lay the lobster on a chopping board. Carefully cut down the middle with a large, sharp knife.

  • Remove the greyish gills and stomach pouch.

  • Remove the vein that runs along the tail.

  • Twist off the claws and bash with a rolling pin or the back of a knife to crack open, and then remove the meat.

  • Top with slices of the herb butter and put under a pre-heated grill to melt.
