Mince pie old fashioned
- 2tsp demerara sugar
- ¼tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 60ml bourbon
- 30ml Cointreau
- Good dash Angostura bitters
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- Cinnamon stick, to serve (optional)
Sprinkle the sugar on a place and gently stir through the lemon zest. Wet the rims of 2 tumblers with a little water and roll in the lemon sugar. Put a couple of ice cubes into each glass.
Add some ice to a cocktail shaker and pour over the bourbon, Cointreau, a good dash Angostura bitters and a generous pinch ground nutmeg. Shake for 1min and strain int the tumblers. Serve with a cinnamon stick (optional).
