Mulled white wine
- 75cl bottle medium white wine
- 3 tbsp clear honey
- Zest of 1 orange, cut into slivers
- Zest of 1 lemon, cut into slivers
- 1 bunch fresh rosemary
- Cinnamon stick, to serve
Pour the bottle of wine into a large pan, add the honey, the orange and lemon zest, and a large sprig of rosemary. Bring to a simmer and then leave to simmer very gently for 5 minutes, making sure that it doesn't boil.
To serve, place a small sprig of rosemary into 6 heatproof serving glasses and carefully strain in the mulled wine. Add a cinnamon stick to each glass for the finishing touch.
