Ingredients
  • 375g Asda Ready Rolled Light Puff Pastry
  • 1 medium egg, beaten
  • 50g Asda Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 20g poppy seeds
Method
  • Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Line two baking trays with baking paper.

  • Unroll the pastry and brush all over with the beaten egg, mixed with 1tbsp water.

  • Slice the pastry into 2cm-wide strips; sprinkle over the Parmesan (saving about 10g) and poppy seeds. Twist the strips and put on the trays.

  • Bake for 15-20 mins until golden. Sprinkle over the remaining Parmesan while warm.
